My Philosophy:
My primary goal is to teach kids to be safe. All students will be expected to put their heads and faces in the water the first day. It is impossible to teach them to be safe without getting their heads in.
No goggles allowed are allowed during lessons, this is for safety. All students must be able to open their eyes and determine which way is up.
Each lesson consists of 25 min. of instruction and five min. of “free time”. However, if your student is having a difficult day they may work the full entire 30 min.
Please remember much of what we teach kids will be learning be for the first time. Some kids may struggle with one concept or another, but It is our job to teach them to become safe and if it makes them uncomfortable, that is ok.
Many kids may be nervous, but that is expected. Something new can be scary at first, but that also leads to more FUN!
Swimming is a great activity for all kids to enjoy, and I want all of my students to enjoy it by being safe. All teachers have CPR training.

Mindy Aronow Swimming lessons is a private – one on one-
residential swimming lesson business geared toward teaching all
those needing the skills to be safe and have fun in the water.
I provide a safe learning environment , in which students can
learn at their own pace and developmental level. The lessons are
one on one with the instructors. My staff of teachers are all trained
in teaching all levels of swimming and are certified in CPR.
In addition we teach those with physical and mental disabilities.
We do not teach levels in swimming, but we concentrate on
safety first.
All students will put their heads into the water 3 times each
lesson.
All students will jump off the side 3 times to the instructor
and progress to jumping off without the instructor
All students will practice back floating and treading water
every lesson.
